Fall Color and Decorating With Pumpkins
Crisp air, puffy clouds, football games, apple pies, and God’s magnificent show of changing colors. These are just a few reasons why I’m looking forward to Fall.
{I snapped this photo at Centennial Lake in Maryland – one of my favorite pictures.}
Like so many of you, I also enjoy decorating with pumpkins. In fact, I’ve already received e-mails from readers looking for centerpiece ideas. So, I’ve compiled photos from across the web that demonstrate three creative ways to decorate with pumpkins.

Aside from using real paint, you can also “paint” your pumpkins with permanent markers, which is much easier.
I love these painting ideas from happymundane {above} and flickr {below}.

Whether you carve it in, cut it out or paint it on, a monogram is always elegant.

Stacked mini-pumpkins make adorable centerpieces, while larger pumpkin topiaries make a nice festive touch to your front yard or porch.
