Go Rogue With Red
My home just wouldn’t be the same without our red room.
Situated just off of the foyer, our crimson study/piano room greets visitors with an unexpected yet welcome blast of color. It also provides a nice balance to the neutral walls of the nearby dining room. Our crimson space provides warmth, energy, drama, and it makes our home feel more festive during the Christmas season.
Using red can be risky, but if done right, it’s like the prettiest girl at the prom — it gets noticed. Below are some other ideas for using red at home:

I’ve always been a fan of red, and you’ve given us some wonderful red rooms to look at….all very different in their “red expession”. I love the red patent leather chair….very unique.
Thanks for sharing.
Oh – I just love red, too! I’ve got this hutch that belonged to my grandmother that seems to be begging for a coat of rich red paint. Thanks for putting that back on my mental list of things to do!!
By the way, your room looks great. And I love that Miles Redd shot, as well!! Yum!
Hi Kelly
Love these pops of red. You are right, it is so eye catching.
The dining room you have sourced from ehomee.com is actually Erin Williamson of Design Crisis’s dining room. Just thought I would pass it along, since I recognized it. And its not red anymore… its black! Still looks great though.
