Hot Accent Color: Coral

I’m really loving coral right now, but I think I like it best when used as an accent color, as opposed to coral-drenched walls.  What about you?

I grew up with coral because it was my mother’s favorite color. It took many forms over the years…peach, apricot, salmon…but there was always some version of that colorway in my mother’s home. Thanks for taking me to that memory of her today !

I absolutely love coral hues, too! Accents are good, but I think these colors work great on full-blown walls. My bathroom currently is painted in a rich, vibrant coral. It’s very flattering to skin tones, actually! Gives ya a nice rosy glow.
Btw – those beds from House of Turquoise are stunning!

As soon as the weather warms up here, we fall back in love with coral! It is one of our favorite saturated hues.

I am absolutely loving coral at the moment! My mum gave me a coral top and a coral scarf on the weekend and I love them!

YAY!! I can finally get back onto your blog!!

I’m not a huge fan of coral, but I do like how it’s been used in these rooms, especially the dining room with the coral ceiling. And it looks great with the purple walls in the first picture :-)

I like coral! In moderation. Touches of coral can really warm up a room. I think it is warmer than red!

Hope all is well w. you my friend.

If you got some time, pop over to my blog for a giveaway. And it is colorful too!

I love it with the turquoise.

Just checked in here: funny: I’m sure I had left a comment a week ago. Hmmm I hope there aren’t more problems!
Anyway, yes, I love coral but find it difficult to work with: it’s so easy to go either too pink or too orange. Do love those headboards from H. of Turquoise!
