Paper lanterns are an affordable and elegant way to add a festive touch to your decor, and they’re available in a wide variety of colors and patterns.  Select your paper lantern first and use that for your design inspiration.

These days, the options for paper lanterns are endless.  I love this red, white and blue trio (below).  July 4th will be here before you know it!

    Hi Kelly,

Speaking of paper lanterns. Do you have any suggestions for where I can find some in the area. Need to complete my balcony before the summer is over.

Wonderful post – great eye candy.

I am a huge paper lantern fan! I just recently discovered that you can paint theme. Yes! If you cannot find that perfect shade to match your party decor, simply buy white ones and then paint using a sponge brush dipped in your color mixture using food coloring and water! Really!
