Small Space. Big Color.
Yes, your small space can be big on color!

New York City designer Lindsey Harper was definitely not color shy when she turned her small Upper East Side apartment into a jewel box. Just inside the door {above}, her ebullient entryway is filled to the max with colorful accessories and bold patterns, and it doesn’t stop there:

Lindsey also used a hefty dose of bold color and pattern in her living room, where a sapphire sofa takes center stage. Some of the same colors are repeated in the bedroom.

{The fabulous chocolate satin headboard is accented with aqua piping and pale blue buttons.}

The small bathroom was also given the works: monogrammed towels, a snake-skin accent table, a red retro telephone and zebra wallpaper.

Design Tip: Lindsey left the majority of her wall space white and brought in colors through the furniture, fabrics and accessories. She also repeated the same hues from one room to the next, which brings harmony to the entire home.
A small space that sizzles with color — love it!
