This seasonís color palette is inspired by my recent travels to the sandy shores of Orange County, California and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. At both destinations, I found that the color of the ocean was pretty much the same:a deep bluish-green.Maybe thatís no big deal but being the color strategist that I am, when I travel Iím always fascinated by how the ocean color differs from place to place. For instance, on the Gulf coast in Clearwater, FL the water appears much more green than blue; the waters of the Caribbean are a vibrant turquoise; and the ocean along the shores of the northeast United States looks like a brownish blue-green(Iím told this is due to the current and not pollution).
