winter '09 color palette
"bright sunshiny day"

Yellow is not typically one of those colors that gets a lot of attention in the winter.  However, I think its the perfect hue for this season's color palette, which also includes silver and white. Yellow has long been the color of optimism and happy faces.  It is the color of sunshine and cheer.

In light of America's hope surrounding our new president and the changing of the guard, yellow is very appropriate this winter.  A new era has begun and excitement is in the cold, frigid air (or warm air, depending where you are). Like many other people all around the globe, I'm hopeful that 'it's gonna be a bright, bright, sunshiny day."
